China & Tibet 2006

In the fall of 2006, we departed Bridgeport for China and Tibet. We flew United Airlines from DFW to Chicago and continued on to Beijing, China. The flight took us over the North Atlantic Ocean, then over Siberia, Russia an into the Beijing airport in the late afternoon of 24 November. We are going to take you on the trip with us using photographs made with a Nikon 4500 Digital Camera. The photographs can be viewed by looking at a slide show or clicking on thumbnails. An example of these two methods are shown as follows. Our trip from Bridgeport to Beijing an be viewed by clicking on SLIDE SHOW and or THUMBNAILS.

(1) Instructions for using SLIDE SHOW. When you click on Slide Show you may get one or two Security Dialog Boxes then a request to download the slide show program. These programs are safe so go ahead and click on RUN for each item. Microsoft is just warning you to be careful what you open so that you do not get a computer infection from someone you do not know.

(2) Instructions for using THUMBNAILS. When you click on Thumbnails you will get a page with thumbnail photographs. Click on each thumbnail to view the image in full size. When you finish viewing each photograph click on the back arrow button in the upper left corner of your computer monitor. This takes you back to the Thumbnail page. If you click on the X in the upper right corner of you monitor you close out the program and will have to start over.
